Our purpose

Closing the gap in accessible healthcare.

Guided by our motto “Equip to Transform”, we prepare learners to become catalysts of change within Uganda’s health system — especially in remote and underserved communities.

Uganda continues to face gaps in the affordability and accessibility of essential healthcare. GHI was founded to respond to this need by equipping dedicated health workers who can extend quality services to the communities that need them most. Through practical training and a strong service mindset, we empower students to transform not only their own lives, but the health outcomes of entire communities.

Rooted in RUN Foundation Uganda’s core values — integrity, compassion, accountability and excellence — Galilee Health Institute is more than a learning institution. We are a hub for nurturing health professionals who understand grassroots realities and are prepared to serve with empathy, leadership and professionalism.

Our campus sits in Bamba, Nangabo, Kasangati — a peaceful setting for study, close to Kampala.

Graceway Skills Lab

Practical training space for dentistry, nursing and laboratory sciences, so students practise before they practise.

Campus library

A study space for group work and quiet reading, supported by online learning materials.

Community clinic & outreach

Clinical exposure through the RUN Dental Children’s Community Clinic and RUN Foundation outreaches.
