Terms of Use
GHI Portal · Galilee Health Institute, Uganda · Last updated 29 October 2026
1. Who may use the portal
The portal is for applicants, students, staff and office holders of Galilee Health Institute. Accounts are created by the Institute and belong to the person named on them.
2. Your account
- Keep your password private and do not share your account. You are responsible for what is done with it.
- Tell the IT office immediately if you think someone else has used your account.
- Administrators and some other roles must use two-step verification.
3. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access records that are not yours, probe or disrupt the system, upload harmful files, or copy library material beyond what the licence allows. Use of the portal is logged. Breaking these rules may lead to suspension of the account and disciplinary action.
4. Records
Results, fee statements and other records shown in the portal are the Institute’s official record once published. If you think something is wrong, report it to the registrar (academic records) or the accountant (fees) — corrections are made with a recorded reason.
5. Fees
Fees are set by the Institute. A payment is only recorded when the accountant has issued a receipt for it.
6. Availability
We work to keep the portal available but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may suspend it for maintenance or security.
7. Personal data
How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Notice.
8. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda.
